- The Varenna Writers Club meets twice monthly in the Varenna library to write, share and edit stories, poems, memoir and essays. Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday are facilitated by Susan Bono, former editor and publisher of Tiny Lights: A Journal of Personal Narrative. Current members include: Elisabeth Levy, Sally Tilbury, Leona Biddle, Nikki King, Karin Fitzgerald, Hal Peters, Nancy Humphriss, Shirley Johnson, Judith Klausner, Annie Brayer, Nat Kalman, Helen McGonagle, and Sandra Rennie.
